Organic Cotton Cutty Sark Top

By Royal Museums Greenwich

Description

Created in collaboration with Royal Museums Greenwich, this pretty pink t-shirt has a story to tell. Did you know that the Cutty Sark was built in 1869 and was designed to transport tea as quickly as possible between China and England? However, the opening of the Suez Canal meant that the trip was reduced by 3,000 miles and steam ships soon became the vessel of choice. You can visit the restored Cutty Sark, one of the last remaining tea clippers in the world, in Greenwich, London. • Rouge pink • Round neck • Long sleeved • Cutty Sark in a tea cup placement print • Created in collaboration with Royal Museums Greenwich • Coordinating items available • Single jersey • 100% organic cotton • Certified by Control Union to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) • Made in Turkey • Machine washable at 40 degrees, or at 30 degrees to be kinder to the planet Royal Museums Greenwich and Kite Clothing have collaborated to create this range.
